Announcing Heidi Kim Mensching
Last week, my wife and I brought our second child into the world. Heidi Kim Mensching was born at 2:49 AM on December 17th, 2014. Like her brother, Heidi arrived late at 7 lbs. 3 oz. She gave us a bit of a scare late last week but now Mom and baby are doing great.
Adapting to a newborn at home is always challenging. Adding a 3 year old into the mix, makes it more so. There is very little down time. We’ve been fortunate that my parents now live close, that Bradley is such a loving brother and that Heidi can apparently sleep through anything.
I told Jenny that it feels like our little family is finally complete. She agreed. It’s pretty exciting to think that we’re all here, ready to continue our adventure together.
I’ve mostly taken the month of December off to be with my family. In the meantime, you keep coding. I’ll catch up with you next year.
