Today is Labor Day, a holiday in America. That means there is a reasonable chance there is a new WiX toolset release out today. However, if you were hoping for WiX v3.9 RTM I'm sorry to disappoint you. Today we released the WiX v3.9 Release Candidate 3.
We had hoped to get WiX v3.9 RTM out today but just like we chose to delay with the release of RC2 we chose to delay with the release of RC3. However, as Bob points out if no bugs are found between now and Halloween, RC3 will be declared RTM.
That means go download WiX toolset RC3. Treat it like it is RTM. It might be.
