First of all, let me apologize. You were probably sent here via a direct link from me with very little context. As you might guess I get many direct queries for WiX toolset support. So many queries that I simply cannot answer them all.

Fortunately, there are now a couple options where you can find answers. Thus I decided to create a page that would list those options and wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of knowledge!

If you're looking for people knowledgable about the WiX Toolset that can answer your questions quickly then talk to the people at FireGiant. They offer dedicated support for the WiX Toolset. FireGiant will have your answer.

Volunteer support

The [email protected] mailing list is full of very helpful volunteers that are quite knowledgable about the WiX Toolset. If you're looking for a free support this is a good place to start.

Alternatively, you can try the WiX Toolset Discussions on GitHub. There is less traffic here than the mailing list as it is still an experiment in the WiX community.

StackOverflow

StackOverflow is a great place to ask programming questions. Tag your question with wix to indicate that your question is about the WiX toolset and someone might answer. Questions sent to StackOverflow are also answered by volunteers so be respectful of their time. :)
