Microsoft 2014 MVP Award

While the rest of the internet goes crazy with silly hoaxes today, I got some great news that turned out to be true. Microsoft awarded me "Most Valuable Professional" status for 2014 in "Software Packaging, Deployment & Servicing".

FireGiant is a member of the Microsoft BizSpark program so I already have access to one of the most important MVP benefits: the MSDN subscription. But I understand MVPs get invited to Microsoft campus for a special event so I’ll definitely be looking forward to that.

Finally, thank you to whoever nominated me. This is the first year I’ve been eligble for the MVP program and it’s pretty cool to be recognized right away. thank you. It certainly encourages me to write more blog posts.

In the meantime, keep coding. You know I am.
